What a HUGE moment for patient safety in Aesthetics in Scotland, leading the way in the UK to improve our “Wild West” reputation for unregulated, non-medical practitioners 🙌🏼

Long time coming but what a result to get this Parliamentary Bill across the line!

No change whatsoever. We are already strictly inspected and regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

𝑺𝒑𝒂 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 has been entirely built on recommendation and referrals.

We don’t have a big marketing budget or strategy but instead have grown organically from the ground up, through reputation and a strong ethos of patient care.

I just wanted to take the chance to thank you each and every person who has recommended us to friends and family when they felt comfortable to do so.

Aesthetics is a very private and personal area of medicine so I fully appreciate talking about their experiences isn’t for everyone. But your continued faith in us is beyond appreciated 🙏🏻

This is a huge step forward in ensuring the safety of patients in Scotland. It’s long overdue but a step in the right direction.

Treatment providers will have to be registered with “Healthcare Improvement Scotland” ensuring the treatment is undertaken or overseen by a doctor, dentist, advanced nurse practitioner, midwife or pharmacist.

Just brilliant news for a Thursday! 👏🏼
