It’s prep week while the countdown is on to this weekends retreat days at 🙌🏼

Every retreat has elements that stay the same (because if it ain’t broke don’t fix it) but I always add some new things in as my own learning and understanding grows and changes and I can’t wait to share what’s in store for everyone this weekend! 😍

The first time I drank cacao it was a “ceremonial dose” and honestly I hated it. I felt so anxious afterwards, like I’d had 4 espressos, and that feeling continued for at least 24 hours.

It took me a while to even consider trying cacao again and when I did I knew I needed it to be with someone I trusted and who would understand. That’s why I chose to go to an event hosted by .speyside
Emma understands not just the origins and traditions around cacao, but also how to use it to enjoy the benefits in a safe way.

I’m so delighted that Emma has agreed to join us at the Autumn Day Retreats to share her knowledge with us, AND we get to take part in preparing our own cacao before she guides us through a meditation while we sip this beautiful medicine.

(It’s also worth noting that the cacao Emma prepares is actually delicious! In the past I’ve been very unimpressed with the taste 🙈 but she’s got it down!)

We will be joined by Emma from .speyside who will be guiding us through a nourishing morning Cacao workshop this year 😍 ☕️

Beginning by learning about this beautiful Peruvian Cacao, where it comes from and how it’s made, we will then move into making our Cacao in the kitchen. Infusing the Cacao with our intentions and energies whilst we make it, before sitting down to welcome this heart opening magic into our bodies. Feeling and flowing with the energy of Cacao as we drop into a meditation to feel the warmth and love she can bring ❤️

IT IS TIME!

It’s nearly my last event of the year and one I’ve been SO looking forward to since I came home from the September retreat 🥹

These Autumn retreat days are timed with purpose and intention to give you the chance to pause before the Christmas chaos and centre yourself, so you can finish out the year feeling like the joyful, expansive, and strongest version of yourself ❤️
