We had a lovely cosy afternoon here at St Johns House with a festive movie day!

Residents settled in to watch White Christmas and enjoyed some tasty snacks while getting into the holiday spirit.

What have we been up to at St Johns House Care Home? 🎄✨

We’ve had a wonderfully busy few days!

Our residents have enjoyed:
• Exercise sessions to keep us moving
• Flower arranging, creating some beautiful displays
• A fun game of bingo
• A tasty lunch out at the Wetherby Whaler 🐟🍟

We stepped fully into the Christmas spirit as our residents decorated the lounge Christmas tree while listening to festive music. The home feels so cosy now! 🎶🎄❤️

What have we been up to at St Johns House Care Home?! ✨

It’s been a very busy and exciting few days!

Our residents have:
Enjoyed some energising exercise sessions
Put their minds to the test with a fun quiz
Finished decorating their delicious Christmas cakes 🎂🎄
Had a brilliant time bowling 🎳
Headed out to the Wetherby Whaler for some classic fish and chips
And have been busy preparing for our upcoming Christmas Fair!

There’s never a dull moment at St Johns House, and we love seeing our residents getting involved in so many activities. ❤️

Say Hello to Rex! 🐾

We had the most wonderful visit from Rex this week at St Johns House, and safe to say he stole everyone’s hearts! 💙

Our residents absolutely loved spending time with him, and he was such a good boy throughout his visit. We can’t wait to have him back again!

💷 £15 – £16.40 per hour (DOE)

⭐ The Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you will:
• Provide high-quality care in line with best practice, policies, and legislative standards
• Support residents to maintain independence, skills, and personal interests
• Deliver truly person-centred care unique to each individual
• Work under the guidance of a Senior Carer/Nurse to ensure the best outcomes for our residents
• Commit to ongoing training and development to grow your knowledge and skills

Meet George 💛

George is a returning member of staff who has quickly reminded us just how valuable she is. She works extremely hard, always gives her best, and never fails to have a smile on her face – even during the most challenging times.

George is a true asset to our home and our residents, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our team. 👏✨

What have we been up to at St Johns House Care Home?!

It’s been a busy and fun-filled week so far! 💛

✨ Monday morning kicked off with some exercise and a quiz
✨ Bingo in the evening (always a favourite!)
✨ A full lounge for a lively game of bowling 🎳
✨ Afternoon arts and crafts followed by old-time music 🎶 (with plenty of singing along, of course!)
✨ And to top it all off – our much-loved Family Meal 🥘💞

There’s always something happening at St Johns House, and we love seeing everyone joining in!
