Why do Pilates & Yoga at The Movement Clinic?

We are a small, independent physiotherapy clinic offering a range of different Pilates & Yoga practices.

Being led by a physiotherapist ensures you are getting a safe & effective exercise class. It is very easy to work someone “hard”, but it’s very hard to work someone “effectively”.

We have a deep understanding of anatomy, injuries and health conditions, meaning we can accommodate for everyone in class.

Our class size is small, meaning we can give everyone 1-1 attention as required.

We are a safe & inclusive space with a friendly community within the studio.

We keep our classes fresh and engaging and we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

No “New Year, New Me”, just showing up for yourself and feeling the huge benefits of Pilates & Yoga ❤️

Our Physiotherapy clinic are looking for Pilates instructors to help support Maternity Cover and regular class cover. With the potential for regular classes. This is a self-employed role.

We have a small studio (max. 12 participants) and a range of mat Pilates equipment for you to use in your classes. Our studio has air conditioning, Sonos music system and the loveliest Pilates clients!

Time to mention the ‘C’ word… 🫣🎄

We will close after Saturday morning yoga on the 20th December and reopen on Monday 5th January.

There will be no classes or physiotherapy appointments during this time.

Please take this in to consideration when buying your class passes or scheduling appointments.

Our Breathe & Reset event is back. Friday 17th October at 7pm.

Are you looking for a way to destress and unwind before you start your weekend? Then this is the event for you.
This special event will include gentle movement, pranayama, trataka kriya, meditation & relaxation to allow you to relax, restore & reset
Gentle movement to clear out any tension or stress and move our energy to allow us to settle into stillness Pranayama (breathwork) to allow us to connect with
our parasympathetic nervous system
Trataka Kriya to help cleanse our mind and bring
clarity and focus
Meditation to quiet the mind and allow us to move
into stillness
Savasana (relaxation) to relax our mind and body

Amazing morning as always at Pettycur…thank you so much to everyone who attended. We really love running this and it’s always so much fun. It was a cold one in the water today and everyone was fantastic. Well done, especially to those who hadn’t been in the cold water before. Our next yoga & cold water event is Sunday 9th November
