Fresha has been updated with Cupping massage and a lymphatic drainage option using compression boots as part of the foot and leg massage. The boots are such a treat however they do have a size
Limitation and so we can always try them on before we start to ensure you can enjoy them.

This week I only have space on Sunday so be sure to get booked in advance so you don’t miss out on the delicious treats ❤️

Okay babes,

If you’ve been in for a massage recently you’ll have heard me complaining about
My hands and wrists. They have been aching for months now and no amount of massage, cupping and stretching is helping.

It’s kinda got to the point of where I’ve been told to rest for 6 weeks or have surgery for carpal tunnel (longer down time)

I cannae rest my hands for 6 weeks, they are my livelihood and my only form of income.

So! In true Lan style, we adapt and we overcome.

As of next week you’ll be able to book in for more relaxing (Gentle on me) massages. This last few weeks I’ve been doing more learning (I know I said no more 😭)

I’m adding -

- Reflexology to my foot massage
- Lymphatic drainage and bamboo massage
- Hot Stone massage

My body needs time to take a step back and be more mindful of the strain I’m putting on my own body at the service of your’s. I LOVE massage. It’s not going anywhere but my focus and energy has to shift slightly.

I hope you all learn to love some of the softer services and that I can mold it into the same level of fixing and treating while being able to work for a long time to come 😍

Okay folks,

I cannot stress this enough

Stop booking appointments for other people under your name. Here’s a list of reasons why this is bad. Not just with me but with every single service provider.

- My appointment record for insurance won’t be accurate.

-Your Boyfriend/ Husband won’t ever learn how to be a grown up and book his own appointments.

- My safety!! Someone books in with an account that’s registered to a female and a man shows up. I mostly work on my own and it’s a red flag. This is how therapists have been attacked in the past. Man books with woman’s name and false details to gain access.

- Payment information. I’m charging a card without the owner present. That leaves me open to charge disputes.

And no, putting “for my Boyfriend/husband” in the notes doesn’t help. None of my client notes and appointment notes match so you’re just making my life 10 times more difficult.

So from this point on, any appts made where the named person isn’t who shows up will be charged at the full rate and the service won’t be provided. No exceptions!!

Any bookings made with notes referring to who will actually be attending will be cancelled and you’ll be contacted to explain why.

It’s occurred to me that Halloween might be a bit of a rough time for diabetic kids or kids who might be affected by sugar for their hyperactivity.

So as such, on Halloween while we’re watching a movie and generally being a bit silly at the shop, I’ll have some Halloween treat bags made up with sugar free haribo type sweets so if you have a kid who cannae have the sugar cane, they can still come out guising and get a treat.

I’ll also have fruit and some vegan options for anyone else who might have kiddos with sensitivities.

If you’re going to pop round, for such a thing, drop me a wee message so I can make sure we don’t run out 🎃

At a loose end this Halloween ?

I’m gonna host a wee hang out for clients and friends.

6:30pm at the shop, there’s gonna be a movie, snacks, mulled apple juice, pumpkin carving and maybe some poetry or storytelling.

There’s a group chat and a poll to pick the movie, we’re avoiding anything too gore so the choices are :

It’s totally free, all you have to bring is something to sit on and whatever else you need to be comfortable.
