Due to clinical staff shortages there will be no GP in the afternoon at Gatehouse on

Wednesday 14th January.

Patients will be asked to travel to Kirkcudbright Health Centre if they need to be seen.

Due to current pressures within the practice waiting times for patient appointments is a lot longer than usual.

Last month a total of 81 appointments were missed.

Please be mindful that if you no longer require your appointment to give the practice a call. This then frees up the appointment for somebody else.

📣🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣🚨

After almost 30 years in the practice Dr Buchan officially retired today from her role as GP Partner at Solway Medical Group 🎉

Dr Buchan will be sorely missed by both colleagues and patients but we would like to thank her for the years of care and support she has provided as a doctor and an employer.

We wish Dr Buchan a happy and well-deserved retirement 👩‍⚕️🩺🏥🥳👏
