I just want to say how truly lucky I feel to work alongside such wonderful people.

Nick at the Co-op in Hexham is incredibly supportive, kind, and always professional. He genuinely cares, and it shows in everything he does.

And James and Sally at Dickinsons Funeral Directors in Gunnerton are some of the most compassionate and thoughtful people I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. The way they look after families, with such dignity and sincerity, is something very special.

They are all amazing to work for — caring, professional, and deeply dedicated. I can highly recommend them.

I was genuinely touched to receive this beautiful bouquet of flowers from Helen and Carolyne. 🌸
Thank you both so much — your kindness truly means a great deal to me.

It was an honour and a privilege to conduct Jim’s funeral service. Being able to support you and help celebrate his life is something I will always hold close to my heart. 💐
Your thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated.

A poem is often lovely to have at a service.
This was written for Annie the Goldern Labradore as part of her tribute.

In Loving Memory of Annie

Fourteen years of gentle love,
Of golden days and grace,
A faithful heart, a shining soul—
No one can take her place.

By Bolan Lake, along the shore,
Through sand and breeze she’d roam,
The beach her joy, the waves her song,
Beside her mum—her home.

Her coat aglow in morning sun,
Her eyes so kind, so true,
Each cuddle, each soft resting sigh,
A gift she gave to you.

Though now her paws no longer press
Upon the earth you tread,
Her spirit runs where waters gleam,
And stars watch overhead.

So when you feel the wind’s embrace,
Or hear the ocean’s call,
Know Annie’s love still walks with you—
Forever, through it all.

Losing a pet can break our hearts just as deeply as losing a person we love. Pets weave themselves into the rhythm of our days — their paws, their presence, their unconditional love become part of our family story. When they’re gone, the silence they leave behind can feel overwhelming.

This is Annie, a beautiful golden Labrador who lived a long and love-filled 14 and a half years. Her family misses her every day, and their grief is a reminder that the bond we share with our animals is real, meaningful, and worthy of honour.

If anyone would like a personal tribute written for their pet — and read at a burial, scattering of ashes, or quiet farewell — I would be honoured to help. Every family I support receives a printed copy of the eulogy on quality paper, lovingly presented in the decorated keepsake tube shown in the photo.

Please feel welcome to reach out. Your companion mattered, and so does their story. 🌿💛
