As 2026 begins under a blanket of snow, though it is beautiful to look out on, it has caused some disruption to our normal routines - reminding us that flexibility is a strength, and alerting us to slow down, adapt, and take care. 🤗

What a fantastic week we have all had here in Orkney, soaking up the awesome atmosphere of the International Island Games.
Well Done to all the organisers and volunteers, from a spectators point of view, who made it all run like clockwork.
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all the athletes who have excelled themselves, achieving PB's and winning lots of medals and for making it a joyous week for us all to remember with so much pride. 💖
