Medical professionals are accountable to their regulator, and often a licensing agency like the Care Quality Commission. They must be insured to practice medicine. When things go wrong, years of medical training kick in so we can diagnose and treat the issue.

So even though retinol is a fantastic ingredient for anti ageing and acne treatments, it is not for everyone! Especially if you have very dry sensitive skin, rosacea, or eczema. So what else can you use?

So what exactly is Profhilo?

💧Profhilo is made from an ultrapure, natural hyaluronic acid (HA) with no chemical cross-linking (thickening) agents, reducing the risk of adverse reactions.

💧Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) treatment that will enhance and revive even the most tired-looking skin in a course of 2 or 3 sessions.

💧Prothilo is an excellent treatment for use as a stand- alone treatment or in conjunction with other procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections and traditional dermal fillers.

Since it is I thought I could not go without sharing with you my tips on how to help you get your menopausal skin back to life!

Check out this LIP FLIP…..

👄The primary effect of the lip flip is to relax the muscle surrounding the mouth (orbicularis oris).

👄 This allows the lip to relax and curl outward, giving the subtle illusion of a fuller lip but without the additional volume.

So as you know I’m very passionate about improving skin health and I believe skinboosters are a great stepping stone towards this.

Skinboosters or injectable moisturisers improve skin quality and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage & even hands.

They can be used to treat fine lines, crepey skin & to provide a more radiant complexion.

So these are the 3 most common serum mistakes I hear in clinic 🙈:

🚩Touching dropper to face
Always keep the dropper at a distance from your skin. When the dropper is touched on the face, this can lead to the transfer of bacteria from the face into the bottle. Especially in acne prone skin, you want to avoid doing it.

🚩Applying serum in palms and then face
Try and apply small amounts all over the face or the affected areas. There is a lot of wastage of serum when it is rubbed on palms and then applied on face. There is no need to warm the serum in the palms either... as this may actually inactivate the ingredients.

🚩Storing serums in areas where there is ambient sunlight
Please store your serum in a Cool, Dry and Dark place. There are a Few ingredients eg. vitamin C which can be deactivated when stored in sun light so keep your serums safely in an area where there is no sunlight.

It is amazing how a small amount of dermal filler : Ultra Deep can alter the appearance of the nose to make it appear straighter, thinner and more contoured 🙌

This in clinic treatment always requires a consultation first so I can assess how much of an improvement I can make ….. as not all noses are the same! There are so many factors that can determine the outcome such as skin thickness, width of the nose and the severity of any bumps.
