Chantal Keryl Powell of Greenend House, Presteigne passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 27th December aged 66 years.

A much loved wife of Elwyn, devoted mother, and a cherished grandmother who will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Keryl’s kindness, love, and generosity touched the lives of many.

A church service will take place at St Andrews Church, Presteigne on Saturday 17th January 2026 at 12 noon, this will be followed by a private family burial.

All are welcome to join us at the Memorial Hall afterwards to share memories.

Please wear bright, colourful clothing.

All donations will be split between Powys Health Charity and a new ‘Nanny Powell Perseverance Award’ to be introduced at John Beddoes High School.

PETER WRIGHT

Peter died peacefully at Hereford Hospital on Thursday 6th November 2025 aged 79 years

He was the much loved husband of Dorothy and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends

A Farewell Ceremony to honour and celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Presteigne Memorial Hall on Saturday 29th November at 12.30pm followed by a private committal at Humber Woodland Burial Ground on Sunday 30th November

Peter’s final Journey will be along Presteigne High Street at 10.45am on Saturday 29th November

No flowers please, but donations if desired will be given Presteigne Assembly rooms
