Makes me melt when things like this are said from new and old staff....
I would like to say a big heartfelt thank you to each and everyone who has made me feel welcome at Freedom, nearly 3 weeks of being with the company, and I have enjoyed every day bar one but I got over it lol, the support I received is amazing, if we have a concern you provide us with a answer, if we are upset you support us, I have never worked with a team so dedicated to there staff and make you feel part of a family, SO THANK YOU AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ❤️ ❤️ ###

We truly have the best team. We always sound like a stuck record on interviews as we tell everyone how amazing you guys are how helpful you all are and how we lift each other.... proud mommager moment xx

We have a couple of vacancies for some extra special people to join our team....

We are looking for a full time staff member to work 5 out of 7 days every other weekend, and a part time person, this would suit someone wanting short shifts on a evening 3- 5 evenings a week including every other weekend.
We have such an amazing care team so we are looking for amazing people to join us
All training and uniform provided, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE USE OF A CAR.
Experience not necessary as we can train you, however we cant train you to be caring and compassionate.

You will need a DBS either current on the live update or obtaining a new one....

Thats another Monday ticked off, tomorrow will be another busy day at FHC.

We have some new amazing staff that have started and starting, so super excited to see what they bring to the table...

We absolutely love the diverse team we have EVERYBODY brings something unique, which in turn benefits our clients with lots of interesting conversations and fun!

And as the age old saying goes "a change is as good as a rest"

Nothing brings us more joy than seeing happy content staff and clients....

🤩Do you know what rights you have when choosing a care provider? 🤩

🟣Many people are under the impression that social services must be involved when looking for a care provider, or that loved ones must accept the first provider that is offered to them.
🟢The truth is that you and your loved ones have the final say in who they choose to provide them with care and support.

🟣Care should feel personal, reliable, friendly, and right for your loved ones!

🤩What are the financial thresholds and assessments?🤩

🟢If your loved one has more than £23,250 in their savings, this would be classed as self-funding, this means that your loved one pays for their own care with no financial assistance. This means that your loved one can choose to take out a package of care with any company that they feel is suitable for them.
🟣If your loved one has less than £23,250 in their savings, the local council may contribute financially or fund the care package entirely. This does not mean that you or your loved one loses the right to choose your care provider.

What options are available?

Social services are able to carry out an assessment of needs to determine what level of care would be required. Once this has been completed, adult social services can provide you with a care provider, however, you are not obliged to accept this package.
Instead, you can request to have a ‘Direct Payment’, this allows you to receive the funding for the care that is required and allows you to choose the care provider that you feel is most suitable to meet your needs.
If you are unsure of the process or wish to seek further guidance and support, Freedom Home Care are always here to help you navigate your options!

You will always see us on the North Yorkshire approved provider list, but if the council are looking for you (putting out to tender) ring us and let us know then we can look for your package coming through and let them know we can take it....

We are not on West Yorkshire approved provider list however there is nothing wrong with direct payments and using us!
