It is also linked to physical health problems like heart disease, problems with our immune system, insomnia and digestive problems.

We need to understand what is causing personal stress and learn what steps to take to reduce it for ourselves and those around us.

IBS Helpful Hint: Keep a food and symptom diary to see if diet affects your symptoms. Keeping a food diary and making a note of whether certain foods make the condition better, or worse, may be helpful. Once you have identified any ‘trigger foods’ you can avoid them.
