Christmas has officially begun at Tabley House ✨

We were delighted to welcome the 2nd Toft Brownies for their annual festive visit last week.

The girls filled the home with Christmas cheer, singing a wonderful selection of carols and seasonal songs - and they even brought handmade Christmas cards for our residents.

A huge thank you to the Brownies for helping us kick-start the Christmas celebrations!

For our Remembrance Day commemorations last week we were delighted to welcome back Rebecca Done, one of our regular singers. Rebecca performed a surprise 1940s Wartime Tribute Show for the residents, singing classics like ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’, ‘White Cliffs of Dover’, and of course, ‘We’ll Meet Again’.

What a lovely time celebrating Onam at Tabley House! 💃

Our staff brought this beautiful Hindu harvest festival to life, sharing the traditions that celebrate unity, generosity and supporting one another - which really sums up the Malayali New Year spirit.

Everyone got to enjoy the dance performance and some delicious traditional food. You could see how much it meant to both our residents and the staff sharing their culture with us all.

Tabley House recently welcomed back singer Rebecca Done, a beloved regular visitor who brings joy and nostalgia through her performances of classic songs and wartime favourites.

Rebecca’s visits are always a highlight for residents, who love singing along to familiar tunes from their younger years. The afternoon was filled with smiles, singing, and plenty of photo opportunities!
