After its sell-out success last time… it’s back.

Join us for an intimate evening of movement and music as Charlotte guides a flowing yoga practice accompanied live by Perrine on acoustic guitar.

Practised by candlelight, this class blends fluid movement with grounding moments of stillness, allowing the music to carry you through each transition. Expect a balanced flow, gentle strength, soft stretches and spacious pauses, all woven seamlessly with Perrine’s live acoustic soundtrack.

The combination of breath, movement and live music creates a deeply immersive experience. Music has a powerful impact on the nervous system, and when paired with yoga it can enhance presence, emotional release and connection, helping you move not just physically, but energetically too.

This isn’t about performance. It’s about atmosphere. Intention. Community. Letting yourself soften into the rhythm and fully arrive in the moment.

📚Happy World Book Day!📚

If you’re a parent, chances are this morning involved a bit of last-minute costume creativity, a rummage through the dressing up box, or a small amount of panic trying to turn a tea towel into a cape… so once the school run is done, consider this your invitation to pause and unwind.

To celebrate World Book Day, we asked our teachers to share some of their favourite reads, the books that have inspired their practice, their teaching and their way of seeing the world.

Here are a few from the Satya bookshelf:

📖 Charlotte’s Pick: How Yoga Works by Geshe Michael Roach
A beautiful blend of storytelling and philosophy that explores how the teachings of yoga can transform not just the body, but the mind and the way we experience life.

📖 Stu’s Pick: Buddha in Me, Buddha in You
A gentle and accessible introduction to Buddhist principles, reminding us that compassion, awareness and wisdom exist within all of us.

📖 Jules’s Pick: The Wisdom of Yoga by Stephen Cope
A powerful exploration of the Bhagavad Gita and how its ancient teachings apply to the challenges and choices of modern life.

📖 Leena’s Pick: The Radiance Sutras by Lorin Roche
A poetic interpretation of ancient ta***ic texts, inviting readers to discover moments of meditation and wonder within everyday life.

📖 And finally… from our very own author ✨
Monique Qureshi, Yoga with Molly and Mo

Monique’s beautiful children’s book introduces little ones to yoga, movement and mindfulness in a playful and engaging way. She’ll also be sharing the story with children at her special children’s yoga event during Knutsford Wellness Week, where families can enjoy a yoga session followed by story time and activities inspired by the book.

Because yoga isn’t just something we practice on the mat, sometimes it begins with the turning of a page.

Which book would you add to the list? 📖

Mother’s Day is around the corner, and if you’re looking for something a little more thoughtful than flowers and a last-minute card, here are our Satya top picks for celebrating the women who do it all.

1. A ticket to our Working Mum’s Club Launch Event
Give the gift of time. Our special Mother’s Day event includes Pilates for mums (while little ones are looked after), keepsake making, songs and connection, designed especially for mums who balance work and family life.
Spaces are limited, book via the link in our bio.

2. A fragrance from Pulse of Perfumery
Knutsford’s beautiful boutique perfumery, home to the most incredible selection of scents. Whether she loves something fresh, floral or deep and woody, they’ll help you find her scent.

3. A facial at Roberta Beauty Redefined
Because glowing skin and an hour of calm is never a bad idea.

4. A Blow Dry Membership at Benny & Co
The gift that keeps on giving, because who doesn’t love feeling put together without the effort?

5. A Satya Sanctuary Gift Voucher
For yoga, reformer, barre, Pilates or a little something special from the studio. Movement, space and time for herself, always a good choice.

However you’re celebrating this year, let’s make it meaningful. Because Mother’s Day isn’t about perfection, it’s about appreciation

We’re truly delighted to welcome Charlotte to Satya Sanctuary, a beautiful teacher and equally wonderful human, who will be taking over our Saturday 8am Hot Vinyasa from this week.

Originally training with and later deepening her practice with .movement and other incredible teachers, Charlotte brings real depth, variety and lived experience to her teaching. Her classes are thoughtful, embodied and rooted in genuine connection, offering both strength and self-enquiry within the flow.

In Charlotte’s own words:

I first discovered yoga in my early 20s, initially using it simply as a way to have a “nice stretch.” Years later, following significant life experiences, navigating PTSD after an abusive relationship and burnout from my career as a primary school teacher, my relationship with yoga truly began.

Through consistent practice, spiritual teachings and self-enquiry, yoga helped me reconnect to myself and to others in a way I’d never experienced before. It shaped the changes my life needed and continues to guide how I live today.

I’m passionate about creating community and supporting people to meet themselves exactly where they are, in all flavours of the human experience. Yoga belongs to you, it is your practice, and I feel privileged to guide even a small part of that journey.

Charlotte weaves spiritual and elemental enquiry into each of her offerings through Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Nidra, Restorative and Shake the Dust, creating practices that feel inclusive, grounding and deeply human.

We cannot wait for you to meet her. Join Charlotte every Saturday at 8am for Hot Vinyasa. Book via the app or link in bio and come flow with us.

Moon Flow; moving with the rhythm of nature

Our new Moon Flow class invites you to slow down and reconnect, not just with your body, but with the natural cycles that influence us more than we often realise.

Unlike solar practices built around Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations), this practice centres on Chandra Namaskar (Moon Salutations), a softer, more fluid sequence designed to calm the nervous system, release tension and create space both physically and mentally.

As humans, we often live as though we are separate from nature, yet we are deeply connected to its rhythms. Just as the moon moves through phases, so do our energy levels, emotions and capacity for movement.

Moon Flow works with those cycles rather than against them, offering grounding movement, breathwork and moments of stillness to help restore balance.

✨ Expect slower transitions
✨ Nervous system support
✨ Gentle strength & mobility
✨ A deeply restorative experience

Join us every Monday at 6:45pm and begin your week by moving in rhythm rather than resistance.

Book via the link in bio and experience yoga that meets you exactly where you are.

It’s the final countdown…

Our Reformer Pilates Open Day is tomorrow and spaces are almost gone

If you’ve been reformer-curious, this is your sign.

What is it?

Our Open Day is a chance to experience Reformer Pilates at Satya in a small, welcoming setting. We’ll be running £11 taster sessions throughout the day so you can try it for yourself, ask questions and feel the difference.

Whether you’re completely new or already love reformer, this is an opportunity to move with us and see how we do things differently.

Why we’re different

At Satya, reformer isn’t one-size-fits-all.

We have just two beds, which means:

✨ No getting lost in a big class

✨ No generic programming

✨ No “everyone do the same thing regardless”

Every session is tailored to your body.

Your injuries.

Your energy levels.

Your goals.

Just because it isn’t 1:1 doesn’t mean it shouldn’t feel personal, and that’s where we excel. Everything is adapted to you, not just what the teacher planned to teach that day.

How to book

Head to our booking system via the link below and select one of the Open Day £11 Reformer classes.

Spots are very limited (two beds = two spaces per class), so if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time. Head to the booking link in our bio or download our app
