What happens on a Mini & Me Yoga Retreat?

Like all of my retreats it’s led by you, there’s a plan, a rough schedule but we work with your bodies not against them.

In the family yoga sessions there will be ribbons, hula hoops, laughter, silliness and the children and you are free to do it or not.

The smile of Aria getting up in headstand and her even bigger smile when I did is what I want to share with you and your child.

To remind them and you, that you aren’t just mum, you are fun, caring, relaxed

Things I hear regularly at the moment

I’d love to start yoga with you but…

I can’t touch my toes

Don’t worry I’ll help you with that, and you don’t have to be able to. But yoga will help you be nearer to them

What do I wear

It doesn’t matter. As long as you can move in it. I like a legging, a sports bra and a vest but wear something you can move in. I prefer bare feet but you can wear socks, with or without grips

I’m (insert number)

I’ve got teenagers and people in their seventies. The main thing they have in common is they wish they had started sooner.

I don’t know how to relax

Don’t worry. I’ve got you

Gratefulness is such a fabulous practice for any age this is a picture of Arias gratitude journal a few minutes every day where we pause to remind ourselves of a moment on the chaos of what we are grateful for.

This was on Sunday after two sessions of yoga with me where I was just mum not the teacher, not the facilitator and completely away from my phone and life.

We laughed a lot, were silly and both did headstands

We excitedly jotted down a plan for our retreat weekend to share this with you and your child

February started with selling our car, was sponsored by walking and the kindness of others and a huge dash of school discos it ended with a photoshoot and laughter with a large pinch of Pixar and Kpop sprinkled within it

I’m looking forward to March being full of yoga events with you guys and the pinnacle of my organisational talents - Arias birthday

This month sees Deep Rest on the 5th, 9d Breathwork on the 17th and a Sound Bath on the 19th

I’m asked often what is the right class for me..
As a community we renamed the classes last year to echo the feelings that the class gave when they left.

So don’t worry about being a beginner just choose based on what is the outcome of the class..

Tired and stiff - Soothe and Recharge is your friend
Needing to move but be looked after - Flow & Glow, Align & Unwind, Feel Good Flow is your vibe
Need to be pushed either cardio or technique - Sweat & Stretch and Flex and Flow is there for you

First class free

And guess what you can change your class with your need and as long as you have a membership your credits roll over to the next month as life keeps spinning those curve balls
