Just to let you know that due to a Scottish Government ruling coming in on 1 April, anyone who is a hands on therapist dealing with under 16's or vulnerable adults must have a PVG disclosure otherwise they won;t be able to treat your child even when there is a parent or other adult present

Well, I've just applied for it, I see too many under 16's that I can't not get it, I would feel that it's discrimination if I didn't get it.

It's strange to me as I've never viewed any child or adult as vulnerable, but there you go, I'm legal now either way.

FREE SPORTS THERAPY MASSAGE SESSIONS

Available next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday if you have been to me before. I have been approached by a student learning sports therapy this year asking if they could have massage practice as such the sessions will be free. I'll be there too, it's just to give her the hours she needs for her course and to help the next generation of therapists.

For the record, and Lanark rumour mill, I'm not quitting, retiring or emigrating to Australia (my favourite rumour so far).
