Just a polite reminder to all clients ✨
When you book an appointment, it is your responsibility to remember the date and time. Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for sending reminders to everyone. This would take me hours everyday.
If you miss your appointment and then message saying “you didn’t send me a reminder,” I’m sorry, but that is not acceptable as a reason to waive the missed appointment fee.
I work by myself and appointment slots are limited. When someone doesn’t show up, it prevents another client from booking that time.
Hence why this policy is in place — I am not earning money for “nothing,” I am earning for an appointment that was booked for my time.
I completely understand that things happen, and the majority of my clients are respectful of my cancellation and no-show policy — which I truly appreciate 💛 However, I shouldn’t have to absorb the loss when an appointment is forgotten.
It is becoming an issue now and if it continues I will have no option but to maybe charge a percentage upfront or in full when booking which I do not want to do as i feel this is not fair to the majority.
