Pilates is a low impact exercise technique of controlled movements that focus on both the mind & body. The exercises aim to strengthen muscles, mobilise joints, lengthen through the spine and realign your posture.

During my classes I aim to :
🧘‍♀️Develop core strength to help improve stability and balance
🤸Improve mental focus & reduce stress through controlled mindful movements
🤩Support injury prevention by enhancing full body strength.

Pilates

Low impact, physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Hubertus Pilates (1833 - 1967), after whom it was named.

Joseph Pilates was a sickly child whom suffered from Asthma, Rickets and Rheumatic Fever, and dedicated his entire life to become physically stronger.

Regular Pilates can help to improve postural alignment, muscle strength and tone, balance, flexibility and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.
