🍁Hypnotherapy and clocks going back.🍁

Soon the clocks will go back in the UK and some of us may feel the shift in mood from shorter daylight hours.
Low energy, irritability, and a lack of motivation can sometimes set in linked to reduced light.

This is a good time to prioritize self-care, get outdoors when you can if possible and seek support if you need to.

Hypnotherapy has been shown to help by reducing stress, improving mood, and promoting relaxation.

Through techniques like positive visualizations and cognitive restructuring, hypnotherapy can help you feel more in control of your mood and help you find your sense of balance and indeed happiness during the darker months.

Promoting Positive Change

As a Clinical Solution Focused Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, I work with people who feel anxious, stressed and depressed and who experience a variety of physical symptoms e.g IBS and panic attacks that accompany these conditions. Hypnotherapy helps people feel calm and in control. It can change the way you live and improve your ability to cope. Hypnotherapy also enables people to overcome phobias and choose how they respond.

I first saw the impact of hypnotherapy when a traumatic memory my husband had been suffering flashbacks from was effectively desensitised and re framed. He was free from the panic and pain that grips someone who is coping with post traumatic stress. A more peaceful family life was restored and I wanted to know more, to find out how I could help other people be free.

After two and a half decades of working, teaching and coaching within education and studying other psychotherapy /counselling techniques I am delighted to have completed a gold standard Hypnotherapy Diploma that enables me to actually make a difference in people’s lives. I support my clients to be free from the restrictions of the mind; to be in control and to feel able to cope; to be able to face life’s changes and challenges with confidence and ultimately to grow as unique individuals.
