I’m especially tempted to try his next “Horrible Happenings” evening tour around Lancaster—it sounds both fascinating and a little bit spooky!

Also, a big congratulations to Gregory on celebrating Twenty Two Years as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide 🌹💙—a truly marvellous achievement and a testament to his passion and dedication.

⚠️ Please note: our Theresa took this photo earlier today on the road between the crematorium and cricket ground. A lovely old tree that has sadly snapped and fallen from the public verge across the road and onto our hedge.

Police have cordoned off the corner leading to this stretch, but please take care if travelling this way.

You are more than welcome to travel through our crematorium if you're stuck or attending the Cricket Club today, but please be respectful of visitors, and drive slowly and carefully ⚠️

Safe travels and we hope the council will have the road open again soon, if not already. We're just glad no one was hurt when this old tree fell.

That’s it — charity challenge completed! 🎉

Over the past month, our amazing team has taken on the 62-mile challenge in aid of Bliss Neonatal. Together, we’ve gone above and beyond, covering just over 300 miles and absolutely smashing our target!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way and donated — your kindness and generosity mean so much 💙

To our incredible team… you’ve been absolute legends from start to finish. We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together!

As we head into tomorrow, it will be the final day of our charity challenge for Bliss 💛 Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — your kindness truly makes a difference.

Our Blossom Bunny Jellycat giveaway will be drawn on Thursday, so keep an eye out! 🐰

📅 We’re pleased to share that our Open Day is set for Saturday 15th August — we’d love for you to join us.

🌷⏰ Welcome to British Summer Time ⏰🌷

Today marks the first day of British Summer Time, as the clocks move forward and we begin to enjoy longer, lighter evenings.

At Lancaster & Morecambe Crematorium, this gentle shift in the season can bring a sense of renewal and reflection. The brighter days often offer a comforting opportunity to spend time in our peaceful grounds, remembering loved ones and finding a moment of quiet in nature.

Of course, in true British fashion, the sunshine hasn’t quite got the memo yet… 🌧️ but we’re sure it won’t be long before those brighter days make a proper appearance!

As spring continues to unfold, we hope the extra daylight brings warmth, comfort, and a sense of peace to all who visit. 🌼
