The recently formed GP Provider Alliance (GPPA) consisting of both the Lancashire North GP Federation and South Cumbria Primary Care Collaborative along with the LMC have now met and established a Memorandum of Understanding and structure where we are all working towards ensuring GP representation both to and from the newly formed Morecambe Bay health care system.

The newly developed Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) (Previously ACS) structure is funding members of the GPPA Executive to attend various groups and meetings at every level across the ICP Governance structure and Quality Group. This allows for the 2 way communication of information as well as allowing the GPPA to ensure GP involvement in some new and emerging pathways and services that may involve or impact on general practice.

If anyone has particular issues or wishes to bring things to the system, please contact any member of the GPPA or link with your Federation/ Collaborative Director or LMC Representative.

Latest Federation Update > April 2018

We would like to announce the appointment of some new roles to the ‘NLMS GP Federation Executive Board’ serving our patients in the whole of North Lancashire:

Lauren Butler takes over as Director of Operations, Dr Rahul Keith is the new Clinical Executive Officer and Dr Chris Coldwell takes over as the new Chairman of the Board.
