The joys and wonders of nature , it’s cold, grey and moody out there but young people found fun, curiosity and ghost stories as we explored our first green space in Lancaster . We found a great tree to hang out with. Jupiter was out in the sky and we ventured down a slippy banking to a great price of graffiti under the bridge.
We even did a little spring bulb bomb on route . Nature is always there and our young people took some really moody photos and embraced the first day of February .

Walk about and talk about in nature is a great way to connect .

Imbolc blessings my friends . Slowly and gently the light returns and Bridget ignites our very being from our sleepy slumber of winter .
A beautiful walk with the little sisters of the snow in Hornby . Sparks of new ideas simmering beneath the surface …. 🔥

Flourishing Fridays are in full flow at the farm .January is a challenge for our door play and learning , but these guys are digging it !
support young people and every week they come along to the farm to learn new skills . We made bird balls, planted oak tree saplings and moved some soil as well as making wood bird feeders with drills !

Keeping warm ! Keeping active and Keeping positive is our focus for January

Our Story

The Ayurveda Apothecary is nestled in Lancashire at the heart of the Trough of Bowland . We are a beautiful retreat centre know as The Gathering Fields. Most of our products available in our online shop are hand crafted and created with love from our wild flower meadow. The meadow is an ongoing conservation project known as The Green Recovery Project that is re establishing native wild flowers in Lancashire. The centre offers a variety of residential and day workshops in Flower Essences, Yoga and Ayurvedic. We host Retreats in our rustic glamping barn and welcome small groups to work from our centre or you may want to camp in our nearly wild camp field. Therapies in Ayurveda, Flower Essences and Sound Healing are available .We love to host local community groups and have plenty of woodlands and rivers to explore. You can hire our venue, or join a workshop, or simply bring your family and friends to stay with us.
