I’m not chasing algorithms anymore.
I don’t perform for machines.
I don’t contort myself into trends, hooks, or borrowed voices.

I move slower now. Deeper. Truer.

Because when you stop chasing, you start pulling.

I’ve learned this in my body first.

Strength doesn’t come from flailing, it comes from alignment.
From pressure applied with intention.
From knowing where your centre is and moving from there.

The algorithm thrives on urgency.
I thrive on resonance.

I don’t need to shout into the void when my work speaks through lived bodies, softened bellies, steadied nervous systems, women who stand differently because they remember themselves again.

I post when it’s true.
I share when it’s ripe.
I teach when the field is ready.

And the right people feel it, not in their heads, but in their pelvis, their breath, their bones.

I don’t attract everyone.
I attract my people.

That’s magnetism.
Not hustle.
Not optimisation.

Not pleasing a system that was never built for embodied women anyway.

I trust the pull.
I trust the signal.
I trust myself.

And that’s when everything finds me.

Because let’s be honest, the world runs smoother when women doubt themselves. When we’re shrinking, second-guessing, hiding our bellies, apologising for our age, our bodies, our power.

But the minute you drop back into your centre, your deep, embodied, pelvic truth - everything changes.

You stop performing.
You stop people-pleasing.
You stop outsourcing your worth.

And suddenly the structures that relied on your smallness?
They start to wobble.

A woman anchored in her core is dangerous in the best possible way, because she remembers who she is, and she can’t be manipulated back into forgetting.

You’re not stupid.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not broken.

You’re a menopausal woman whose body is doing EXACTLY what a hormonally shifting body does.

What you actually need?

Real physiology.
Real strength.

Hi 👋 I’m Jill, thought I’d introduce myself as I’ve got some new followers.

I’m a movement educator, Pilates specialist, and women’s wellness guide with over 30 years of experience helping women rebuild themselves from the inside out.

I started in the 90s teaching aerobics, dance fitness, and spinning, my work has evolved as I have, shaped by hip dysplasia, pelvic floor injuries after childbirth, and my own long journey into strength, breath, and deeper embodiment.

I am the creator of Wisdom Well, a 3-month immersive program that has transformed the bodies and lives of countless women.

My approach blends science, soulful practice, and decades of hands-on expertise to restore intrinsic strength, melt stubborn belly bloat, tone arms, legs and core, support metabolic health, and bring back vitality from the inside out.

My clients not only change shape—they glow, move better, sleep deeper, and reconnect with their bodies in a way they haven’t felt in years.

Through Pilates (at my studio in Langley Park, Durham), I teach strength training, breathwork, and nervous system regulation, i teach women how to reclaim their power, rewrite their stories, and build a body that feels stable, strong, and alive.

Im very grounded, intuitive, and refreshingly honest (sometimes too honest 🤣), drawing from my own lived experience and my belief that every woman deserves to feel whole, confident, and unstoppable…without fear that parts of them might “fall out or fall off.”

I also wrote a book! 📖 ‘The Embodied Core’ which you can get from Amazon or my studio.

I’ve also taught around the world, sharing my message that health is not a quick fix but a practice of coming home to yourself…consistently.

My classes are busy, my 1-2-1’s are full, I’m not cheap but I’m freakin good! (And yes I own my power ✨💚🤣)

“I do it anyway.” ✨Magic happens!

That’s been the quiet mantra running through Wisdom Well these past weeks.

Not motivation.
Not perfection.
Just women deciding - I do it anyway (or my version of this that I couldn’t put on insta! 🤣).

And look what happens when we choose that…

My clients have absolutely blown me away.

Pounds and inches melting off.
Skin glowing.
Energy rising.
Bodies regulating.
Nervous systems softening.
Women remembering what it feels like to feel good again.

We’re at the end of this round of Wisdom Well, and the transformations have been nothing short of powerful. Not because everything was easy or convenient, but because these women showed up for themselves, even on the days they didn’t feel like it.

That’s the secret.
That’s the work.
That’s the wisdom.

I do it anyway.
And it changes everything.

When I talk about hydration - it’s not just about the amount of water you drink. It’s this ⬇️⬇️⬇️ - a well hydrated fascial network is what you need.

Movement provides this!

Everyone is starting to realize how important fascia is when it comes to training the body, but most people still underestimate how deeply it influences movement.

Hydrated fascia behaves very differently, down to the cellular level. Not only does it participate in bioelectric signaling, it also plays a major role in how much range of motion your body can access during exercise. When this tissue is loaded correctly, it becomes elastic and responsive. Your muscles coordinate better, your posture improves, and energy becomes more stable because your body isn’t fighting itself to move.

When this tissue loses its elasticity and structural organization, your body begins moving in ways that increase tension, stiffness, and joint stress in the wrong areas. This is when people start experiencing the movement degradation that eventually leads to pain. Hydration in the body isn’t just about drinking more water. It depends on restoring the mechanical conditions that allow fluid to move through your tissue with minimal friction.

The visual on the left is exactly what we help you overcome through our training. This is what you see in the transformations we help people achieve, where their bodies begin to look more viscoelastic and full.

If you want to improve your movement, you not only need to strengthen the muscles that are weak, you also need to build the mechanics that distribute tension efficiently throughout your fascial system. The quality of your movement determines the quality of your tissue.

Last night’s train from York to Durham was a lesson in nervous system mastery.

The carriage was absolutely heaving, packed bodies, heavy air, alcohol fumes and the energy of rivalry thrumming under the surface.

I ended up sat beside a group of Sunderland lads coming back from the match in Manchester, when a gang of Newcastle fans piled on and immediately started shouting, goading, trying to spark something bigger.

You could feel the tension ripple through the carriage like electricity.

One of the Sunderland lads beside me was right on the edge, breath shallow, jaw tight, ready to rise.

So I did what I do.
I grounded him.
Talked him down.
Got him breathing.

Helped him choose regulation over reaction. A tiny island of calm in a carriage that felt ready to combust.

Eventually the police arrived and the noise dropped, but the energy didn’t fully settle.

And then it was my stop.
Of course it was.

To get off, I had to walk straight through the middle of the Newcastle fans — who by now assumed I was with the Sunderland lads. A narrow corridor of hostility.

But this is the thing about a woman in her power: she doesn’t shrink.
She expands.

I stood tall, grounded through my feet, spine long, breath steady. I looked each of them in the eye and with absolute calm I politely asked them to move so I could get off the train.

And they parted like lambs.

No shouting.
No pushing.
Just space.

When you’re regulated, when your body is anchored, when you trust your own presence… even a hostile crowd feels it.

Power doesn’t always roar.
Sometimes it simply breathes.

Plus, I somehow think men know not to mess with a menopausal woman 🤣

Anyway, deep breath’s all round and I was glad to get off.

Not a problem to fix, not a weakness to hide, an ancient place of power we’ve been taught to forget.

When you breathe into your pelvis, you’re not just “activating muscles”…
you’re awakening memory.

Ancestral wisdom.

The deep feminine intelligence that knows how to heal, how to soften, how to rise.

This is where regulation begins.

Honor the altar.
