There is something deeply profound that happens when a woman reconnects to her pelvis… she comes home.

When a woman drops her awareness back into her root, everything shifts.

She softens.
She remembers her strength.
She stops gripping at life and starts receiving it.
She feels grounded, supported, held from the inside out.
And she reconnects to the part of her body that holds her creativity, intuition, boundaries and truth.

Your pelvis isn’t just anatomy.
It’s your centre of gravity, physically, energetically, emotionally.
It holds your stories, your power, your healing.

Lush. Lush, lush…new beginner program started tonight.

I love getting a group of women together in my studio, all different ages, different backgrounds, different injuries and conditions.

But, all working together to get stronger and more mobile.

Pilates is the perfect gateway for them all!

Lately, I’ve reinvigorated my love of the true Pilates method. And, I’m loving seeing my clients get stronger and free from pain. It never ceases to amaze me, how wonderful our bodies are.

Tonight we delved deep into the pelvis, we felt our bones, engaged our core and centred our breath. The foundations are where the true power lies.

Excited for the next 6 weeks, let’s see how far we can go!

Just because I’m strong doesn’t mean I’m invincible. 💫

My prolapse didn’t happen because I was weak, it happened because I was too strong. Too much holding, gripping, pushing, tightening.

For years I thought strength would protect me from everything… but the truth is, strength without softness can tip the balance.

So now I’m learning to let go.
To lengthen.
To breathe again.

And that’s what’s fixing me.
Not more tension. Not more control. But release.

I’m living proof that the method works, breath, stretch and mindful movement are rebuilding me from the inside out.

Strength doesn’t make us immune… it makes us resilient.
It means we can fall, learn, and bounce back quicker. 🌿

If you’re on your own recovery journey, prolapse, pain, or pelvic floor tension, then know this: you don’t need to fight your body.
You need to listen to it.

In the UK, over 60% of women report symptoms of poor pelvic floor health, with urinary incontinence affecting about 1 in 4 women overall.
Despite these statistics, there is a significant lack of awareness, with many women not knowing how to perform pelvic floor exercises or seeking help from healthcare professionals.
Research also indicates high rates of other issues, such as pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and f***l incontinence.

Your body is always talking to you… are you listening?

This little routine is one I’ve been using to help ease my prolapse symptoms (which have vastly improved), along with lower back and pelvic pain.

When the body is tense, especially around the jaw, neck and diaphragm, that tension travels right down into the pelvic floor.
So in this video, I’m working with breath, release and gentle movement to calm the nervous system and soften those holding patterns.

🌬️ Cat/Cow with breath
🌬️ Child’s Pose with breath
🌬️ Seated deep diaphragmatic breathing
🌬️ Neck and jaw release
🌬️ Tapping to ease tension

When the breath flows freely, the core and pelvic diaphragm begin to work in harmony again. It’s not about forcing — it’s about allowing.

As a teacher who’s worked with many female bodies over the years, and owner of one myself.

The female body blows my mind. 🌸

The way it can heal, adapt, and rebuild when we give it the right tools and support, it’s just incredible.

Lately, I’ve been diving deep into my breath, my core, and my pelvic floor… and I honestly feel so much better.

More grounded. More supported. More me.

We really are incredible healing organisms. When we give ourselves time, energy, nourishment, rest and love, the body knows exactly what to do.

I’m so thankful that I’ve stayed strong, looked after my nutrition, kept hydrated, and allowed myself to slow down and heal.
