Our agency lead Emma took a long weekend to explore Dartmoor, and it got us thinking about self care. Lots of people think self-care is bubble baths, skincare routines and candles, and for some it absolutely is… but for Emma she resources herself through walking, spending time with friends, meditation, journalling and gardening. She also recommends saying “No” as the best form of self care… setting boundaries to protect your wellbeing, particularly as we enter into what can be a busy time of year.
