Ghoulish greetings for the spooky season from everyone at Portcullis! 🎃

Much Halloween hilarity was had by our residents, as they watched their young visitors playing games and trying to eat the string of doughnuts without using their hands! 🍩

It’s been a fruity week here at Portcullis as we celebrated Apple Day! 🍏✨

We started by picking apples from our garden trees, then added a few donated extras before washing, chopping, grating, and pressing them to make our very own fresh apple juice. 🧃

Everyone who joined in had a fantastic time learning how it’s done - and, of course, tasting the delicious results! 😋🍎

Join Us for Our Summer Fête & Fun Dog Show! 🐶🌞 Saturday 30th August | 1:30 – 3:30 PM 📅

We know our visitors love bringing their dogs, so this year, we’re making them part of the fun with a paw-some dog show! 🐕

🐾 6 Tail-Wagging Classes: Prettiest Lady, Most Handsome Dog, Cutest Puppy (under 1 year), Cleverest Trick, Waggiest Tail, Fastest Sausage Eater 🌭🐾
🎟️ £1 entry per dog, per class.

There’ll also be stalls to browse and delicious cream teas for just £3. Come along for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and furry friends!

🦉✨ What a hoot this week has been!

We were thrilled to welcome the lovely ladies from Owl Obsession UK , along with their beautiful owls, Woody and Ollie.

Woody is already a familiar (and very loved!) face here, but it was our first time meeting Ollie, a stunning, rare black barn owl!🖤🦉

The owls brought so much joy, especially to those who don’t always feel like joining in. It’s amazing how a pair of feathered friends can spark smiles and conversation.

Thank you Owl Obsession for such a special visit! 💛
