Monday, Thursday and Saturday , you can find me at Therapy & Fitness West Malling. Classes here need to be pre-booked and you can do that through my link tree or head to Therapy & Fitness’s Website.

Chair Yoga, you can simply come along. Tuesday, sign in and pay at Larkfield Leisure Centre. Wednesday come to Hadlow Old School Hall, and I can take your payment by card. It’s only £4!!

This week, we tune in…

How often do we say offhandedly that we need to switch off, have some down time, take a break or take time out? And without realising it, we slowly disconnect.

What if we flipped it around and rather than tuning out, we tuned in? What if we reconnected?

That’s one thing that yoga provides… the space and time to tune back in.

A little sneak peak of this week’s big idea in class:

“We come to practice to tune in, not to tune out…to tune in to ourselves, tune in to the stillness, tune in to the present moment.”

I love running and I love yoga. There are so many parallels, and probably too many to list here. But I’ll give it a go 🙂...

I love running and I love yoga.

There are so many parallels, and probably too many to list here. But I’ll give it a go 🙂

1. You are present in the moment.

2. You concentrate on and control the breath.

3. You overcome limiting beliefs and storylines.

4. You tap into an inner strength and resilience.

5. You have to let go of expectation, let go of attachment to particular outcomes and enjoy the experience.

6. You find a balance between effort and ease.

7. Your approach defines the experience.

8. You have to be honest with yourself and meet yourself where you are.

9. Speaking kindly and with compassion is much more motivating than beating yourself up.

10. There is a strength that comes through steadiness.

11. Endurance can be developed.

And by the way, savasana was definitely the best pose to try 😊🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️
