WOW! Our Easter Appeal has collected an incredible 1,422 Easter eggs this year for our local charities and community organisations!

Our amazing staff can be seen delivering the eggs to some of the charities and groups we’re supporting.

Everyone at Henry Dorricotts would like to say a massive thank you to all who donated towards the appeal.

The kindness shown by our local community, businesses, and churches has been truly overwhelming and we are so grateful for your generosity.

Delivering these eggs brought us great joy—seeing how much this small gesture meant to so many people was incredibly heartwarming.

On behalf of Henry Dorricotts, we wish you all a happy, joyful and peaceful Easter.

On Saturday, our colleagues Sandy and Sandra were honoured to attend the neo‑natal and miscarriage memorial at Wishaw General Hospital. This service means so much to so many and we hope it brought comfort and togetherness to all families who came to remember their little ones.

As part of the memorial, Sandy placed a floral basket in the memorial gardens and he also offered each family a carnation, which they laid in the gardens as a simple, heartfelt tribute to lives forever loved and never forgotten.

Our thoughts remain with every family who carries these memories close. 🩷💙

🌷 Happy Mother’s Day 🌼

Mother’s Day brings joy for some and quiet reflection for others. Not every woman is a mother but every woman brings strength, care, and compassion into the world in her own way.

To the mothers, the mother‑figures, the women who nurture in countless forms, and the women we hold in our hearts— today we see you and we appreciate you.

Warm thoughts from all of us at Henry Dorricott’s

A Special Mother’s Day Gesture at Lower Johnshill and Bankhouse Care Home 🌼
Funeral Director Fraser and arranger Gayle visited Lower Johnshill and Bankhouse Care Home this week to bring a little sunshine ahead of Mother’s Day. They kindly gifted each woman living in the home a beautiful bunch of daffodils helping make the day that bit brighter.
Fraser and Gayle also presented the dedicated nurses and carers with a thoughtful gift basket filled with treats, along with a heartfelt card to thank them for the incredible compassion and commitment they show every day.
From everyone at Henry Dorricott’s: we wish all the female residents and the caring team who support them a very Happy Mother’s Day when it comes. 💛

🌼 A Special Mother’s Day Visit to Machanhill Primary! 🌼
Jen, our Funeral Director at Henry Dorricott’s, were delighted to visit Machanhill School this morning.
Every P1 pupil was gifted a beautiful bunch of daffodils to give to their special person ahead of Mother’s Day, along with a colourful pencil to help them continue creating their amazing artwork. 🎨💛
We were truly touched by the wonderful drawings the children made of their special people — these lovely pictures are proudly displayed in our branch window in Larkhall. There’s still plenty of time to stop by, admire their creativity, and have a friendly chat with Jen.
From everyone at Henry Dorricott’s, we wish you all a happy Mothering Sunday when it comes. 💐💕
