The PHA is aware of the meningitis outbreak recently reported in South East England. The UKHSA is leading the response to the outbreak and there is no increased risk to the population in Northern Ireland. Today, on International Women’s Day, we are proud to celebrate an incredible member of our team, Nurse Practitioner Jean Hamill.

After an amazing 52 years in nursing, Jean has said farewell to Victoria Surgery as she begins her well-deserved retirement. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to patient care have made a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.
