Maldon Boxing Academy Maldon Boxing Academy - boxing fitness related class Our head coach has 40 years experience within amateur boxing.

Formed in 2011 MBA encourages social responsibility by promoting teamwork, self-respect, discipline and the benefits achieved through exercise and fitness. The club places a strong focus on encouraging younger people to adopt a healthier lifestyle and become more aware of and involved in sporting activities within the community. It aims to impact young people's lives in a positive manner, limiting any future problems that could arise through anti-social behaviour. Since gaining his first coaching qualification 25 years ago he is now a level 4 (Advanced) amateur coach and Coach Educator with England Boxing, he also hold’s a professional license with the British Boxing Board of Control. All our coaching team are England Boxing qualified and hold relevant safeguarding and first aid certificate’s. All coaches and staff hold up to date DBS certificates. Keep yourself fit, get a real feel good factor about yourself through developing rapid co-ordination skills of mind and body. Please check our page regularly for an update of opening hours. Currently we have following sessions available:

Monday: 17.00 - 18.00 Development and Junior squad
18.30 - 20.00 Seniors squad

Wednesday: 17.00 - 18.00 Development and Junior squad
18.30 - 20.00 Seniors squad


Membership fee: £50 per month or £10.00 per session

We are based at Richard Brooke Boxing Academy, Unit 1, Red Lions Business Centre, Burnham Rd, Latchingdon, Chelmsford CM3 6JH

Both finished with split decisions and it did not go in favour of our boys.

Hard work is hard for a reason 💥🥊

Hundreds of hours for a few minutes. Train for four minute rounds so that three minute rounds are easier. When the going gets tough, that is the exact moment to push forward. That’s what it takes to become better at any craft.
