Rachel qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2008, since then she has worked as a District Nurse, Emergency Department Nurse and more recently as an MIU Nurse Practitioner. She is very experienced with a numerous range of ear problems, from assessing and treating infections to syringing and removal of foreign bodies. Rachel has completed an accredited Aural Microsuction Training Course recommended by the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists and is fully insured.

It’s not just your nose that feels the effects of spring. Your ears can too.

Allergies can cause inflammation and congestion around the Eustachian tube (the bit that helps equalise pressure), which can leave your ears feeling blocked, full, or poppy. Some people also notice itchiness or increased wax build-up this time of year.

Getting your ears checked can help rule out wax build-up as the cause of that blocked feeling, and make sure everything is clear and healthy, which can make allergy symptoms feel much more manageable overall. 💜

If your ears don’t feel quite right this spring, don’t just put up with it 👂✨
