Nature Ed-Venturers - drop off (or accompanied if that works best for you) Forest School sessions on Fridays, 11-2, for young people aged 10+.

Sessions are relaxed, low demand and child led with activities offered with no pressure to participate. Bushcraft skills, fire lighting and outdoor cooking, crafts, games, nature connection and plenty of opportunity for physical play, relaxation and socialising in the gorgeous Pennygillam Community Woodland, Launceston.

Sessions are now available to book until Easter - can’t wait to see you all!

Nature Explorers - Forest School sessions every Monday for home ed and flexi schooled children or those currently unable to access school. This group is for children aged 4-12 with their grown up. 11am - 2pm.

Sessions are very relaxed and child led. Activities are offered with no pressure to join in - games, crafts, nature connection, tool work, fire lighting and outdoor cooking, mud kitchen, plenty of opportunities for physical play, socialising and chillaxing in the beautiful Pennygillam Community Woodland.

Sessions are now available to book up until Easter! I can’t wait to see you all

While I’m not in the woods, I’ve been taking nature indoors in Plymouth, working with DROPS - making waves through the arts to run Immersed in Nature. This is a beautiful group. If you are over 18 and fancy coming along it would be wonderful to have you join us!

Feedback please:

If I was to offer walks aimed at adults and young people over about 7 (ie those who will walk at a reasonable speed and not need to stop at every rock, tree and creature) would you be interested and what would you be willing to pay (be honest and say £0 if that’s your truth)? I have insurance and a first aid certificate. Walks would be daytimes during the week and up to about 5 miles ish as I have to do school runs.

WINTER BREAK UNTIL FEB HALF TERM

You may have noticed that there are no sessions available to book onto right now and that’s mostly because I was trying to decide when to start groups running again. Attendance has been really low for the last couple of months and the weather has forced me to cancel multiple sessions. I have therefore decided not to run regular sessions until Feb half term.

Do keep an eye on this page as I may do some pop up sessions if I’m missing my nature fix too much. I’m also contemplating a few winter walks over this period. Finally, I am available for private bookings at a winter discount price of £20/hr (minimum 2 hours) so if there’s a group of you who fancy a Forest School session tailored to you, please send me a message.

Last night I co-facilitated a wonderful Immersed in Nature session in Plymouth with DROPS - making waves through the arts. We gathered round the campfire, shared and sang together. I have decided to make this the last session of the year. The weather is making things really frustrating for me as an autistic person who struggles with change and I imagine many of the children and young people who attends are feeling the same.
