We were excited to host the Virtual Dementia Tour bus at Jubilee House today. Visitors and staff stepped aboard to feel what life might be like for someone living with dementia.

It was a powerful and insightful day, helping us all build empathy and understanding - a truly unique and thought-provoking experience ❤️🚍🫶

Barbering is not just about cutting hair, it's about building relationships and creating a sense of community.

Some of our gentlemen enjoyed a visit to our regular dementia friendly barber for a trim and a shave...and emerged looking like film stars! ❤️💇‍♂️💈

One of our favourite activities is when the students come to visit from St Patrick's Catholic Primary School. The children read to our residents from their reading books and, as always, we were so impressed with their confidence and enthusiasm.

Our Bistro was filled with laughter and chatting, creating memories across the ages ❤️📚🫶

We were delighted to welcome some of the performers from the Warwick Arts Centre, who entertained us with songs from 'Candide' by Leonard Bernstein.
Powerful voices resounded around the Bistro, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed the superb and energetic concert. What a treat!

A bittersweet day at Jubilee House as we said farewell to our wonderful Jaspreet.
We are so sad to see her leave us, but excited for her new opportunity as a Nurse in a NHS hospital in London.

We wish you so much success and happiness, Jaspreet - and thank you for your incredible dedication to our team and residents, we know great things await you. You will be missed! ❤️👏⭐️

Head Chef, Oliver, was ceremoniously piped into our Bistro bearing one of his Haggises - much to the delight of our residents.
Our special, honoured guest, Peter Irvine, then 'Addressed the Haggis', before stabbing it with a dagger.
Lunch was haggis, neeps and tatties, followed by dessert of Raspberry Cranachan - blasta! 💙🤍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🍽🗡

We were delighted to welcome 3 members of the Leamington Literary Society - Trevor, Nigel and Annabel.
They gave our residents a fascinating talk and presentation, entitled 'Literary Leamington' about famous authors who have visited Leamington Spa, including JK Rowling, John Betjeman and Charles Dickens.
A great afternoon, thank you! ❤️📚👏
