🎉 Ringing the Bell for Jennie 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our wonderful colleague Jennie, who has officially rung the bell to mark the end of her cancer treatment.💚

Jennie was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer in June 2024 and has shown extraordinary strength throughout an intense treatment journey. Under the care of Mr Stuart Robertson and Consultant Oncologist Dr Penny Kechagioglou, she underwent surgery in July and received the positive news that the cancer had not spread.

What followed was a demanding course of treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and 18 Herceptin injections over the past 18 months. As Jennie puts it, it’s been a real rollercoaster ride, but she’s here to tell the tale.

Jennie has shared heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nursing team on the Milverton Suite who supported her throughout, as well as the fantastic support from Nuffield Health management and her brilliant team in the Business Office, where she’s been a valued member for almost four years.

Jennie, your resilience, positivity, and determination have inspired us all. Congratulations on this huge milestone - we’re so glad to be celebrating it with you 🌟💪
