She arrived very late, so I didn’t even have time to properly finish the lips 🙈

Still — considering the conditions — I think the makeup turned out absolutely gorgeous ✨

✨ Brow thinning — let’s talk facts. ✨

A client came to me for brow waxing and mentioned that the tails of her permanent makeup appeared lighter than the front.
I explained that this is completely natural 🤍

👉 The front of the brow has higher hair density, which makes permanent makeup appear stronger.
👉 The tail naturally has fewer hairs, so the pigment looks softer.

During our consultation, we discussed her brow history.
It turned out that previous salons did not thin her brows — instead, they trimmed the hairs with scissors ✂️

🚫 Why trimming brows with scissors is not the same as proper thinning:
When brow hairs are cut bluntly, the inner structure of the hair shaft (the cortex) becomes exposed, disrupting the hair’s natural protective layers.

🧬 What risk does this create if a client later decides to have brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a chemical restructuring process that breaks and reforms the bonds inside the hair to change its direction and shape.

⚠️ If the cortex has been exposed due to scissor trimming, lamination solutions can act much more aggressively on the hair.
This significantly increases the risk of:
• over-processing (over-lamination)
• chemical “burning” of the hair
• excessive dryness and brittleness
• breakage or snapping along the shaft

For this reason:
✨ I refuse to perform brow lamination on brows that have been previously trimmed with scissors.
An exposed cortex is a contraindication — the hair cannot safely tolerate the chemical process.

✨ In this case, no cutting was done.
The brows were thinned correctly and safely, respecting the natural hair structure and growth pattern.

More isn’t always better — especially when it comes to lashes.
Very long, mega-dense, super black lashes can actually close the eye, pull it down and make it look smaller, heavier or tired.

✨ HD Brows – thinking about permanent makeup? ✨🤔

HD Brows (brow tint + shaping) can be a great first step if you’re wondering whether permanent makeup would suit you.
Yes – very often this treatment is chosen by clients who want to see how they would feel with more defined brows before deciding on PMU. 💫

Of course, tint is not as precise as a needle and pigment ✨

But the way I work with tint allows us to get closer to the effect of permanent makeup and visualize the overall shape and intensity.

📸 In the photos you can see:
• brows with makeup
• brows without makeup
• brows after HD Brows (tint&shape)

I intentionally left a stronger skin stain, because there is very little hair. This allows the client to wear the effect for a few days and really feel it. 🤍

⚠️ Let’s remember one important thing:
Skin constantly exfoliates and renews itself. That’s why henna/tint on the skin will never last a month – no matter what anyone says.
Anyone who truly knows skin biology knows this is simply not possible.

HD Brows are not permanent makeup – but they can be a beautiful preview of how it might look and feel on you ✨
