When carers lose their lifeline - your support matters more than ever.

Every week, Crossroads Care Surrey steps in to provide much-needed respite breaks to unpaid carers across Surrey - people who dedicate their lives caring for disabled, elderly, or ill loved ones, often with little rest or time to recharge.

But now, due to recent funding cuts from Surrey County Council, many of these carers face losing their lifeline. Nearly 300 unpaid carers could lose access to vital respite care.

What your donation can do
✅ Sustain existing respite care so that carers can continue getting vital breaks
✅ Extend the support beyond November 2025 while we explore alternative funding
✅ Enable Crossroads Direct, a self-funded service, to bridge some of the gap in support
✅ Send a message that our community values and protects the wellbeing of carers

🎄 Volunteer Opportunity – Friday 19th December in Banstead!

We’re looking for some festive volunteers to help us spread Christmas cheer 🎅
Crossroads Care Surrey supports unpaid carers across the county — keeping families together and preventing carers from reaching crisis point. Last year alone, we provided over 70,000 hours of care to Surrey’s silent heroes. 💙
On Friday 19th December, we’ll be joining the Rotary Club of Banstead and Sutton Nonsuch for their annual Christmas collections outside Banstead Waitrose. All funds raised will go towards supporting local charities, including ours.
✨ What you’ll do:
Join our crew of merry elves, enjoy some carols, and collect donations from local shoppers.
🕒 When: 10:00–18:00 (2-hour shifts available)
• 10:00–12:00
• 12:00–14:00
• 14:00–16:00
• 16:00–18:00
🎁 We need: 2 volunteers per shift

Crossroads Care Surrey supports carers. A Carer is someone who looks after a relative or friend with a significant health condition or disability, ranging from an older person with dementia to a child with cerebral palsy. We provide respite breaks giving the Carer some precious time to themselves.
