A gentle reminder from me to youâŚ
and also a reminder to myself â because I got stuck in a quirky thought loop too.
Rest is not something you have to justify.
If your body feels heavy, slow, foggy, or doneâŚ
thatâs information, not failure.
This season asks a lot of us.
Itâs okay if your system needs more quiet than productivity.
Youâre allowed to pause.
Youâre allowed to do less.
Youâre allowed to stop pushing.
Nothing is âwrongâ with you for needing rest.
You are not failing because you havenât done
the things on the list in your head.
There is no rule that says you must suddenly
start the year as you mean to go on â
get everything sorted, cleared, and organised
ready for the mythical âfresh start after Christmasâ.
If youâre not feeling that enforced zest
for productivity and organisation,
this is your reminder (and mine):
That is okay.
And you are not a failure because of it đ
