It's no secret I suffer with chronic pain, I often have never ever felt anything like it. I was never one for medications, and now life can be crazy when it gets too much pain wise. Pain can be so upsetting, essential oils not only help with calming my pain, but helping my mindset and focus too to help me manage the pain.

However, chronic pain and essential oils...

Pain, often caused by muscle pulls, tension, inflammation, cramps or long term conditions, can be aided by essential oils.

Even I have managed to reduce some pain medications by using essential oil massage.

The best oils to use for pain are blends for massage in a carrier oil are:

Peppermint: it's cooling, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and even analgesic

Lavender: to calm, relax, reduce inflammation & pain

Chamomiles: these have a huge effect on muscle tension, pain & spasms

Rosemary: a magic oil for pain & inflammation relief!

My first home grown Rose of the year!

I love the scent of Rose, most of you adore it too. However, did you know that when a Rose goes through the distillery process to create an essential oil you are left with such a small amount of oil that it makes the process rather expensive.

This then puts the price of the essential sky high, however you get a by product called Rose Floral Water (a water hydrsol) which can be produced in a much larger volume making it cheaper. I cant use this however as we know water, and wax don't mix and it wouldn't be safe

So, when I make your blends I always use Rose Absolute and to put this in perspective for a wax melt with 3 oils I need 8ml of oil, around 2.6ml of each oil.

So in pricing perspective with current market states (it fluctuates alot!) 10ml of Rose Absolute today is: £28.43.... without postage & packaging. WOW.

Expensive but effective super flower power.

A medium strength blend, let the top notes of orange surround you and set the environment and let the lavender middle notes gently relax you and the patchouli melt your stresses away.

I think this blend sounds absolutely perfect in a candle!! I'm going to have to make one now!
