Slow yoga flow today really focusing on breath (pranayama) with movement (asana) slowing everything down back to basics, focusing on alignment, grounding through the feet making sure muscles are engaged and feeling everything. Working with breath and holding breath with poses making sure posture is correct.
I feel going back to basics is necessary whatever point your at if you are a beginner or intermediate, sometimes we forget the importance of awareness and this is yoga.
A lot of the time I enjoy these sessions more than the energetic strength focused ones, but totally depends on how Iโm feeling that day, always always listen to your body.
Being postnatal I am focusing on alignment and awareness more at this time, postnatal needs awareness and slowing down is needed for recovery.
