Zen Babies runs Baby Massage, Baby Massage for Twins, Baby Yoga & Toddler Yoga classes at Asquith Primary school, Ronin Goju Karate in Morley and Edmonds Dance Centre in Bramley. The classes are fun and baby led giving you the space to learn a new skill with your baby and have uninterrupted bonding time together.

I strongly believe we still need to build our village. We no longer live in communities where the men hunt a deer but we are instinctively there for each other as women.

Baby classes are not just for learning baby massage, they are an hour of peer support, no matter one’s background you’re in this together and have babies each other’s knowledge and experience can support another. Enjoy that hour with your baby and the other parents or take it a bit further and start to meet outside the group for walks, coffees, play dates, other baby groups.

It’s all chores and nappy changes the next feed and maybe fitting in a little sleep when you can. Allow yourself to stop and be with you baby in the here and now. Enjoy learning their cues and facial expressions, communicate through your baby first language of touch. Baby Massage teaches respect and love, I see you. Massaging your baby will also calm you both, improve sleep, aid digestion and so much more.

She doesn’t have a Coat of Many Colours but she does have a large colon on her vest. 5 years of Zen Babies, we started on zoom, eagerly waiting for the lockdowns to lift and for bay classes to be allowed face to face again. April 2021 we launched the first baby massage class at my children’s school.

Since then I’ve created more than just a baby massage class, we have added reflexology routines, gentle parent stretches and relaxation techniques for a fully joint experience, making friends and enjoying the here and now with your baby creates a special hour in your week.
