Time really has flown! It’s over a year since I last posted after my trip to Wales.
Not the best at posting on social media, but even for me, that’s very quiet and I’m here to explain what I’ve been up to! 🤩
Everyone I work closely with will have a chuckle at how long I have been procrastinating and over-baking this announcement and exciting update.
Over the last 3 years, I have been studying and training at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York and I am very pleased and proud to announce that this summer I received my Professional Diploma in Acupuncture from the college, alongside my BSc
(Hons) in Acupuncture from the Health Sciences University with our graduation
ceremony later this month.
Studying Acupuncture with the NCA has taken me on an incredible journey, lovingly named by some students as the Hogwarts of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it has been my Happy Place from the moment I stepped into the building. Deep dives into TCM, Biomedicine and Pharmacology were balanced with soooo many Practical skills classes, Diagnostic techniques and Research, all brought together during our 400 hours spent in the college’s very own acupuncture clinics (my favourite part).
Fast forward from the summer, I am a member of The British Acupuncture Council and licensed for Acupuncture with both Leeds and Wakefield Councils. Appointments are open for Acupuncture in Wetherby on Wednesdays and Sundays. (DM for more info, my
new Booking link is another admin job for another day).
I will be sharing more frequently, but for now, after even more creative procrastination designing leaflets and business cards, I shall park and post, get the admin done, progress not perfection. New chapter. New ways of helping. Acupuncture alongside Mizan Therapy & Reflexology 🥰
p.s. never let anyone (including yourself) tell you that you’re too old to do a degree or that it’s too late for a new beginning 😍
