Leg circles are a classic Pilates move for hip mobility and core control.

When your feet are in the straps, the springs support your legs, helping you move smoothly and focus on alignment.

Take the straps away, and suddenly your core has to work much harder to keep everything stable!

Both versions are brilliant,just different challenges for your body!

Feet in straps = support + flow ✨
No straps = pure core fire 🔥

🌿 Flexibility vs Strength – Finding the Balance

People often assume I’ve always been flexible, but that’s definitely not the case. It’s taken a lot of time, consistency and patience to get here, and even now, I have to work hard to keep the right balance between strength and flexibility.

Flexibility on its own isn’t the goal. Without strength to support it, it can actually make us more vulnerable to injury. The magic happens when you build mobility, control and strength together, that’s when your flexibility becomes functional, safe and sustainable.

That’s exactly what my Splits Focus class is all about. We’ll focus on opening up safely, building the strength to support your range, and learning how to move with confidence at every stage.

Whether you’re miles away from the floor or nearly there, this class will help you progress in a way that feels good for your body.

I have been running these workshops for over a year now, and I have to say it’s something I really love teaching!

For me, the practice of Yoga has many benefits, both for the body and the mind. This workshop will be covering how to get the most out of the benefits in your physical practice, cultivating strength and flexibility.

I will be choosing 4 poses to explore in your body, offering modifications, variations and adjustments in each one in order to find the best version that works for you. We will discuss anatomy, alignment, and tips to work on strengthening your practice both in and out of classes.

Join me for Ashtanga Modified Primary Series practice on Sunday 16th April at 10am

My yoga journey started with Ashtanga, and I fell totally in love with it! The sequence is not complicated, but that's why it's great! It's a chance to visit lots of familiar postures in a set sequence, without having to over think complicated sequencing. For me, it's like a moving meditation, matching movement with breath.

In my teacher training with we covered modifications in every one of these postures to make it accessible for everyone, which I really important to me as a teacher!
