📢 FULLY FUNDED LIFEGUARD QUALIFICATION 📢
EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Friday 31st January 👍
We are excited to announce we are able to once again offer 10 fully funded places on our upcoming NPLQ Lifeguard course. These places are for people who might be looking to change career paths, re-enter the work force or increase their chances of employment. The NPLQ is a nationally recognised fully accredited qualification, that can open doors to employment opportunities in the leisure industry, both locally and nationally.
The course will be delivered here at the Baths, a respected and established training provider, with years of very high pass rates, from Monday 17th February - Friday 21st February. Applicants must attend every day of the course in order to qualify. There will be further opportunity of work experience at the Baths after successful completion of the course.
You must be over the age of 18 and be able to:
🌊Jump/dive into deep water
🌊Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds (2 lengths of our pool)
🌊Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back (4 lengths of our pool)
🌊In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
🌊Climb out unaided without ladder/steps and where the pool design permits
We will teach you the rest 😉
