We experience a high number of calls daily but instead of sitting on the phone why don't you visit our website you don't even need any log in details to send us the request, just simply click on our "contact us online" on the homepage of our website.
This will give you access to requesting a variety of different things inside and outside our opening hours, such as requesting medications / booking routine appointments for both GP & Other healthcare professionals.

🔵🔴🟡 CHILDREN IN NEED 2025 🟡🔴🔵

We have been extra busy these last few weeks, trying to raise some money for Children in need by doing some challenges along the way.
Here are some action shots but we have also done many other challenges too....

• 25 new foods
• 25 books
• 25 hours of stopping va**ng
• 25 items donated to charity (Children's hospital toys & advent calendars & Leeds North & West Foodbank)
• 25 Cakes made
• 25 balls on the driving range
• 25 km walk with the dog

And so far we have managed to have £175 raised which is just Amazing.
Thank you to anybody who has donated. It is going to a wonderful cause

"On Armistice Day we invite the nation to pause for a two-minute silence, and reflect on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf.
Armistice Day has been observed every year since 1919 with a two-minute silence. Held each year at 11am on 11 November, the silence coincides with the time in 1918 at which the First World War came to an end and is observed at war memorials and in public places throughout the UK and Commonwealth."

We observe a Two Minute silence on Armistice Day. At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.

Remembrance Sunday 🌺
The National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London is held on Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November.

The service is attended by senior members of the Royal Family, including His Majesty The King, HM Government and features a March Past involving 10,000 veterans.

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

As we have mentioned, Hawthorn Surgery staff are coming together to complete challenges to help raise money for Children in Need.

We have had 25 buns made 🧁
We have had a 25km walk accompanied with a furry friend 🐾🚶🏼‍♀️
We have even had 25 golf balls hit on a driving range 🏌️‍♀️⛳

& there is still plenty of time for more challenges from the staff.
We have already managed to raise some wonderful donations to go towards such a good cause.
