Training is in full swing, and I’m feeling great! 💪

Decided to switch things up and follow one of the programs from my group training.

Turns out I program better for other people than I do for myself! 😅

If your workouts feel a bit stale, drop me a message!

I’ll hook you up with a free trial to the group, where you can check out all my programs and actually start seeing some results in the gym. Let’s go!

We’re all scared that we’ll fail.

The only thing that separates the ones who succeed from the ones who don’t is whether you’ll let that fear stop you from TRYING.

Do you want to spend each day trying to succeed?

Or do you want to look back and say “I never failed because I never tried”

New members offer!!!

Yesterday I told you I’d be offering something extra special to the first people to join the new Ascend online group coaching program.

Well here it is!!!

The first 10 people to come on board will receive:

- A fully personalised training plan
- Your own nutrition plan with calories and macros set for your goal
- A full roadmap to get from where you are, to where you want to be

All completely free!!!

As a standalone service, this would be worth over 6 months of group membership and you won’t find better value than that!

This offer is live as of RIGHT NIOW!!!

But be quick as it’s first come first served, and I’m pretty sure these spaces are going to fill up fast!

If you want to snap up this offer, or just need some more information, just drop me a message saying you’re interested in the Ascend group and I’ll get right back to you.

The what, the who, the how, and the when! Here are the answers to the questions you’ve been asking!

This group is going to be a game-changer!

It’s the thing I wish I’d had when I was getting into health and fitness.

I’ve spent the last 10 years being asked questions by people struggling to achieve their goals and get on top of their health and fitness.

And basically for every question I’ve been asked, this group has the solution.

If you’re not where you want to be, get in touch.

This is for you.

I’ve been a little quiet but it’s almost here!!!

The ascend group is so so close and I can’t wait for you all to see what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Anyone who’s spent time with me over the last few months knows how much time and effort I’ve put into this, and seeing it all come together is genuinely amazing!

We’re a little over a week from launching and every day between now and then I’ll be posting more details on what exactly it is, what you’ll get, and how to join.

Keep your eyes peeled, and if you just can’t wait then drop me a message and I’ll send you some more details.

Let’s go!!!

I set my 2025 goals like this; you should too!

Firstly, don’t listen to anyone who makes fun of new year goals or resolutions.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle bustle of life, and the new year period can be a great time to take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and make the changes you want to make. People who make fun of that tend not to make any positive changes in their lives at any point.

Secondly (and this is the big one) make the work, not the result, your goal.

What does that look like?

Option 1 “This year, I want to get in great shape”

Option 2 “This year I want to train consistently and focus on my diet”

This seems small but I’ve personally found it to be a super powerful way to set goals and I put a lot of my success in 2024 down to this.

It gives you a much better idea of what the goal actually consists of, gives you some concrete actions to implement, and most importantly it completely takes luck (or lack of it) out of the equation.

Obviously, this doesn’t have to be a fitness goal.

You can use this method with any goal or resolution you might have this year.

“I want to make more money this year” - “I want to hit my KPI’s at work and build a second revenue stream.

“I want to learn a second language this year” - “I want to spend 15 minutes per day practising a second language”

“I want to spend more time with friends this year” - “I want to organise at least one social gathering per month this year”

The list goes on.

Whatever your goal is just remember, focus on the inputs, not the outputs.

2024 what a year!!!

I managed to get out and compete across MMA and boxing 4 times this year winning a title in the process and got to spend a tonne of time training and improving with my team at .leeds

I really got back into the swing of my own gym training and I’m finishing the year feeling the strongest and fittest I’ve ever felt. If you’re local to Leeds and looking for a gym full of people who motivate you then is the place to be.

Even with all the training and competing, I always preach that life is about balance and I definitely made time for some great food as drinks. Everything in moderation of course but if you’re looking for any recommendations then and are my top food picks of this year!

I also made time to do go to some great events and explore some awesome new cities with the best company I could ask for!

The biggest win for me this year is seeing all the unreal transformations my clients have achieved this year!!!
It sounds like such a cliche but I’m genuinely so so proud of every single one of them and I can’t wait to see them keep smashing it in 2025!

Thanks to everyone who’s helped this year be one of my best years so far.

Happy new year everyone! Let’s make 2025 even better!!!

As 2024 wraps up, I’ve been reflecting on the phenomenal progress my clients have made this year.

From physical transformations to huge improvements in confidence and all-round health, it’s been an absolute privilege to be a part of the journey.

The physical changes you see here are awesome, but that’s just the surface level.

The changes that I’m most proud of have all been internal. Seeing people genuinely start to believe they can achieve anything they set their minds to, seeing them take on new challenges in their work and personal lives full of drive and confidence, and seeing their health markers consistently improving has made me look forward to every day at “work”

2025 is shaping up to be even bigger and better, and I’m beyond excited to continue helping more people achieve their goals.

Whether it’s through 1-1 coaching or the new group coaching programme, I’m more confident than ever that there’s something for everyone.

If you think you might want to get involved just drop me a message asking for info, and I’ll send over all the details. Let’s make 2025 your best year yet!

An absolutely awesome 12KG down for .1

Charlie absolutely smashed his goal of getting lean in time for his holiday and I'm super proud of the work he's put in.

When we first spoke he said he'd actually got quite lean before, but felt like he lost muscle along the way and ended up looking pretty skinny.

So the goal was simple.

Get lean, while holding onto (and ideally building) as much muscle as possible.

And that's exactly what we did!!!

Every single week weight went down and numbers in the gym went up.

I always preach doing things in a sustainable way and making sure your diet phase doesn't feel super difficult or like it drags on forever.

Charlie was able to go out to socialise with friends, still eat foods he enjoyed, and generally live a pretty similar life to the one he was living pre-diet.

It's not about a complete lifestyle overhaul.

It's about implementing small changes, optimizing some of the things you're already doing, and getting the guidance you need to stay consistent and accountable.

I've got slots for new clients open so if you're looking for these kinds of results and want to find out more just drop me a message and I'll get right back to you.

I turned 31 this weekend, these are the top 10 lessons I learnt this year.

1. Value your time.
There's a lot of things competing for your time and when it’s gone, it’s gone. Be the captain of your own ship and control where your time and energy goes.

2. Work smarter, not harder is a stupid phrase.
You can work smarter AND work harder. It doesn’t have to be one of the other and I’m sure that phrase is only there to give people an excuse to be lazy.

3. Age CAN BE just a number.
If you train right, eat right, and recover right, you can and will outperform people younger than you.

4. Life’s a joke, or at least it should be.
You should be laughing every day. Don’t take yourself too seriously, don’t take life too seriously.

5. You’ll learn more from the bad than the good.
I’ve learnt a lot this year. Most of the things I’ve learnt have come from “failures”. It sounds cliché, but a failure is only really a failure if you don’t learn from it.

6. If you want to do something, do it NOW!
Putting things off or waiting for the right time is almost always just you trying to attach logic to a fear you have. If you want something, you have to go for it. Success lies on the other side of fear.

7. Look after your body and it will look after you.
A couple of hours per week in the gym and some good food, or a couple of hours per week in the hospital and medication. The choice is up to you.

8. Putting yourself first isn’t selfish.
You can’t pour from an empty glass. Look after yourself first, you’ll have much more to give to the people you care about.

9. You know experts in so many fields. Use them.
Asking for help is something I'm notoriously bad at but it’s helped me so much. Stop trying to do the job of a mechanic, a painter, a PT, a builder, and god knows what else. You know people who know more than you. It’s okay to ask them for help.

10. Good things come to those who wait.
I’ve been lucky enough to meet a lot of successful people this year, and the one common trend is they kept going when other people would have given up. You can see a lot of success by simply keeping on going!

We're not done yet, but we've made a hell of a start!

Tom is not down 15kg from his starting point.

Next time you go to the gym pick up a 15kg plate and let that sink in!

He's actually made my job super easy and stuck to the plan we laid out like glue!

Having said that, he's also been able to enjoy a holiday, birthdays, and general social occasions throughout his transformation.

One thing that puts a lot of people off getting started is the idea of having to give up all the "fun things" in their life.

But with the right plan in place it really doesn't have to be that way.

This is one of the few situations where you actually CAN have your cake and eat it.

Now, if you want to see results like these don't expect to be in the pub every day after work for a few pints and a burger, but there's absolutely no reason you can't still enjoy that kind of thing on the weekend and still see progress.

Tom still isn't quite where he wants to be, but he's getting pretty close so I just wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate his progress so far!

If you want great results that are actually sustainable in the long run and want more info on how to get involved just drop me a message and I'll get straight back to you!

It's such a cliché when someone asks "why did you get into coaching" to respond with "I just love helping people"

And it would also be a complete lie.

I got into coaching because I'd finished my athletic career, enjoyed training, and didn't know what else to do.

"Those who can't do teach, and those who can't teach teach gym" - Jack Black 2004

But seriously, I got into the job for completely selfish reasons.

But I STAYED in the job because of the passion I found for helping people.

I think it was about a year in when I realised the thing getting me out of bed in the morning wasn't telling people how to squat properly, it was that I was genuinely invested in the journey my clients were on and I wanted to do anything I could to make it a success.

I've been coaching for around 6 years now and it took me a long time to realise what being a good coach actually was.

Essentially, it boils down to being there for someone even more than they'll be there for themself.

These are some of the messages I've got from my clients that really make me appreciate what I get to do for a job every day.

Also, I'm still taking on clients so if you need some help getting in tip top shape just drop me a message and I'll run you through all the details!
