Today has been a fantastic day for our team! 👏

Our staff have successfully completed their CPR refresher training, reinforcing the vital skills that help us keep others safe every day.

Following this, we had some fun with a “Guess the Baby” activity—lots of laughs and a great way to bring everyone together!

We also celebrated our Lead Nurse, Angela’s birthday today with delicious cake.

To round off the day, we came together to celebrate our incredible team with a special presentation. This included long service awards, employee recognition certificates, NHS service badges, and personalised wellbeing gift bags to show our appreciation for everyone’s hard work and dedication. 💙

IMPORTANT UPDATE - REFURBISHMENT AT LOFTHOUSE

We would like to inform patients that Lofthouse Surgery will be undergoing essential building works from the 10th January 2026.

The work is part of our efforts to improve the practice environment and enhance your experience with us, making it a more modern and welcoming place for all.

If you are visiting the practice, please allow for extra time or use alternative parking methods as the car park will be busier than usual during this period. After many years of dedicated service, our Lead Nurse, Maxine Grimbley, will be transitioning into a partial-retirement beginning 8th January. While this marks a change in her role, we are pleased to let you know that she will continue to support our practice on a reduced schedule.

Throughout her career here, Maxine has been an integral part of our team and a trusted caregiver to many of our patients. Her experience, compassion, and commitment to patient care have made a lasting impact on our practice and community.

We are grateful for her continued presence and hope you will join us in congratulating her on this well-earned next chapter.
