Hello, I hope you’re well.

I wanted to let you know that, after 2 1/2 years of creating content for a global wellbeing app, I’m re-launching my Oakwood-based business with a a re-brand and enhanced offering.

And I’d love you to join me at Songbird Sanctuary, Leeds’ first garden wellbeing retreat!

We’ll have:

8 person Nordic sauna, cold plunges and relaxation area, plus cosy yoga studio.

Sauna sessions will be bookable by the hour for a gorgeous dose of relaxation.

Plus yoga, movement and meditation classes and courses.

After 22 years of self employment today is my first day in a brand new role as an employee 😀.

I’ve always done things my own way so while many of my peers are starting their own businesses I am closing mine and seeing where this new opportunity takes me 🙌.

I’ll still be working firmly in the world of wellbeing, movement, meditation, yoga and health but now with a team to thrive and grow with and the aim to take this work to many more people.

The ace news is that my garden studio is now also my office space with workout and yoga areas included so I can continue to walk my talk.

Hi all,

I have space again to take on new clients looking for help and motivation to move more, build strength and feel more confident with what type of exercise is best at this point in life.

I offer a series of one to one sessions on Zoom or in person and specialise in working with women.

Whether you'd like a short term boost of knowledge and confidence about building strength and mobility or a longer term program to keep you motivated and progressing towards great health, I can help.

I use a combination of yoga, strength training, mobility exercises and mindfulness to create movement sessions that will leave you feeling confident, energised, stronger and more balanced and at ease in your body and mind..that's the aim anyway!

First veg from the garden 🙌.

I’m a totally newbie to this and am just grateful that something came up from the seeds I sowed a few months ago!

Purple sprouting broccoli (the bits not eaten by pigeons), a teeny carrot (the big one was for comparison 😂) and strange shaped beetroot.

I have a few spaces left for my Yoga Nidra for Sleep class next Thursday 30th June at 7pm at my garden studio in Oakwood.

1 hour of Yoga Nidra is said to be equivalent to 3 hours sleep and the technique can reduce stress and help insomnia and anxiety amongst other things.

A totally rejuvenating evening with a little gentle movement, a breathing practice teach and a guided relaxation done lying down with an eye bag, blankets and bolsters. It's a little like a (hands off) massage for your nervous system!

You don't need to have any level of fitness or flexibility to join and I'd love to welcome you here.

NEW CLASS!

I'll be teaching a weekly yoga class on Insight Timer (the world's largest meditation app) starting from next Friday 17 June at 4.30pm for 45 minutes.

FlowMotion was my original yoga class which I taught in person each Friday before Lockdown and then every Sunday on Zoom during the whole Covid period. A really lovely group of regulars developed!

I stopped teaching it when I developed Long Covid but now have the space to introduce it again in a slightly new format.

I'd love you to join me if you'd like to try it. You don't need to be flexible to do yoga and, in my classes, there is an emphasis on slow and flowing mobility movements, breathing and nervous system calming.

These classes will be as beneficial for your mental health as for your physical health.

The class is Donation based and everything is run via Insight timer so it should be easy to book on and attend.
