Hi to all residents families and friends,after being at Oakland’s for 13 years I have decided to leave I feel it’s time for something different! I will miss the residents dearly as they have been part of my life for along time 😢 I will definitely keep in touch and visit the residents there’s no way I can just walk out and forget them ,,much love Helen (cook) xx — feeling grateful.

Few off the residents enjoyed doing some painting on tiles ,then on Friday they will be taken to Riverside paint a pot in castleford to be put in the kiln to be finished off for us , thanks to riverside paint a pot for letting us hire the paint ect 😊 — feeling thankful.

Today was a great achievement we opened our doors to the residents families after so many months off being on lockdown and we are proud to say we have been COVID Clear !!!
The smile on our residents faces was priceless and to hold there loved ones hands 😃😃 little steps but hopefully soon back to normal 😀👍
