Congratulations to Michaela, Fusion@Reginalds newest volunteer, on achieving her Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering. Michaela, along with our other fantastic volunteers, give their time and smiles to make our cafe a warm and welcoming place in which to grab a cuppa and a cake.

A Leeds organisation has scooped a Queen's Voluntary Award for its tireless fight for equality across education, health and social care in the city.

BHI's CEO, Heather Nelson, was proud to be the Key Note speaker at the Race Equality Network on 8 February. She emphasised the need for more action on equity to enable equality and the need for change in investment to support new working ways using evidence already collated from research rather than continuing with more research and consultation.

She also highlighted the need for more investment in to the VSCE sector who has the trust of those from the diverse communities working with and for them.

Other dignitaries at the event were Kaneez Khan, Susan Hinchcliffe, Humma Nizami and Professor Udi Archibong.
