Our company director, Lisa, has 8 years previous experience owning and directing a Premium Russian Hair Suppliers alongside a successful salon business. This means we have an exclusive list of contacts available that enable us to source and import some of the best quality Russian Slavic Hair Extensions and Hair Systems available. Ladies, if you’re taking Mounjaro, please do your research—especially if you already have fine or thinning hair! 🚨💇‍♀️ Many people don’t realise that rapid weight loss from Mounjaro can lead to hair shedding, brittle regrowth, and overall hair weakness.

Keeping my lovely client’s mesh integration system secure and looking flawless! 💁‍♀️💖
Tightenings are a quick and easy maintenance appointment, the appointment takes around 1-1.5 hours and we keep everything in place without the need to remove the system. 🙌

🔄 Realignment is a deeper refresh, where we fully remove the system, wash the scalp, and apply treatments if needed. This is only necessary every 4-5 months to keep your scalp and hair in the best condition! 🧖‍♀️✨

Most clients book their tightenings every 6-12 weeks, depending on the size of their system and the number of links anchoring it to their natural hair. Everyone is different, so we always tailor appointments to suit you! 💕

Welcome to Authentic Locks. As Yorkshire's most prestige hair extension and hair replacement centre, we are dedicated to creating and restoring fabulous hair. We have always had a great passion for hair and at Authentic Locks we take great pride in making people feel better about themselves by providing them with not only new improved hair, but a great level of customer service alongside this. Authentic Locks owner and founder Lisa Dowdle started her career many years ago as a hair extensionist and quickly realised hair was something she really had a passion for. Lisa wanted to extend her knowledge and grow her company to the best level it could be so did extensive training in wig making, hair replacement methods, hair preparation, and hairdressing. Lisa has also researched hair quality all over the world and now sources her own Russian hair range which many hairdressers and extensionists buy from our Authentic Locks supply company. Lisa’s reputation for knowledge and hair quality is second to none. Our experience and expertise enables us to make all our Russian hair creations by hand to suit the needs of each individual client. Our bespoke hair blending methods mean you can achieve subtle or bold highlights with your hair extensions, wefts, or wigs so they can match your requirements perfectly. This can mean mixing up to 4 colours together to made the perfect blend with optimum results! Particularly with extensions, we have seen many cases where blending has not been carried out correctly meaning you can see the persons natural hair ends which makes the extensions look very unnatural. Our thorough consultation service enables us to get a perfect match for your colour and discuss your specific needs and requirements. At Authentic Locks we pride ourselves on quality and customer service and we want each and every client to have a fantastic experience and fantastic hair!
