Simple things cause the biggest issues. Went out to replace a battery for my cousin but a new battery didn't cure the issue, after an hour of diagnostic testing the ignition switch had given up so returned the battery to replace the switch.

Good as new, sounded very healthy for a Focus with 173,000 miles on the clock with a petrol engine in. Back on the road

Thermostat housing done on a Nissan Qashqai after it blew a hole in the corner due to a weak design from the factory which is a common issue. New thermostat housing fitted with some fresh coolant with great hospitality from the customer supplying me with hot drinks to brave the cold

Braved the elements to help my existing customer's son as he changed his pads and discs on his Peugeot 106 a go. Credit to him he did a good job but the brake carrier had previously been repaired with a helicoil

The bolt snapped so we removed it, drilled out the bolt hole and installed a new helicoil with a new bolt. Back on the road makes a happy customer

Called a customer yesterday after he was experiencing a grinding noise while driving. The dust seal on the rear caliper causing it to seize up completely which ruined the discs and pads

Managed to find parts on a Sunday to get the customer back on the road. Garages won't open till the new year so why not contact your local mobile mechanic

A job done today for one of my regular customers after he contacted me regarding his wife's car making a knocking noise. The rear top mount on the suspension had broken due to age, replaced with OEM quality parts after battling with a rusted on bolt due to being exposed to the elements for so long

The customer kept me in posh coffees and nibbles, as well as a few beers and a tip. Merry Christmas to everyone

Peugeot 308 wiring fault, no drivers side rear light down to a common issue as well as pin tension on the plug causing a bad connection

Replaced the rear connectors and cut back the earth where the insulation was swollen. One happy customer
